Police Department

The Police Department is located adjacent to City Hall at 3947 Lincoln Avenue .  The business office is open Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  An emergency telephone is located outside the front door of the Police Station and may be utilized by any person needing assistance.
 
The Groves City Police Department consists of a Patrol and Investigative divisions.  The patrol officers being available for service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The investigators may be contacted during regular business hours.

Emergency calls for service and 9-1-1 calls are received by Central Dispatch which is jointly owned by the cities of Groves, Port Neches and Nederland.  If a person needs to discuss a non-emergency matter with an officer, they may call 727-1614.

The Police Department is comprised of a City Marshal, a Chief Deputy, a Lieutenant, five (5) Sergeants, a Narcotics Investigator, and nine (9) Deputy Marshals.  This group of highly trained and motivated officers are constantly striving to make the City of Groves a safe and secure community.
