Utility Operations Division
This Division includes the Water Distribution Unit, Wastewater Collection Unit, Warehouse Unit, and the Drafting/Recordkeeping Unit. Some of the most common problems handled by this Division include: low water pressure, water leaks, flushing of water lines, sewer line stop ups, and sewer cave-ins. Water Distribution and Wastewater Collections Unit
If you have a question or have a problem with your water bill call 960-5777. These Units work on the systems and do not read the meters or do the billing. They are responsible for the maintenance and construction of the water and sewer lines in the City. If you see a water break, please call us.
Warehouse Unit
The Buyer is responsible for purchasing all the material needed to keep the streets, drainage, water and sewer systems running. Various materials, valves, clamps, fire hydrants and other inventory items are kept in the warehouse ready to be used at a moments notice.
Drafting/Recordkeeping Unit
Recordkeeping is a very big part of any organization. The City of Groves has one of the most up to date drafting systems. Records of water breaks, calls for service relative to sewer, water and solid waste are kept in a database.
